The Best Medicine

"A light heart lives long." [William Shakespeare]

Today is one of our favorite days: January 24th is Belly Laugh Day. We plan to celebrate every year from now on–will you join us? Celebrate the gift of laughter!

Down and Up

yo, yo!

Yes, it’s true! It’s National Yo-Yo Day, a day to pull out your favorite old toy and see if you can still “walk the dog.” Why June 6th? It was the birthday of Donald F. Duncan Sr., who popularized the yo-yo in America in the early 1900’s. However, it is believed that yo-yos have been around for thousands of years, and they might have been used in Ancient Greece! Whether or not you have a yo-yo, celebrate your inner child today, and do something purely fun that will make you smile.

Up Where the Air is Clear

"When you send it flyin' up there, all at once you're lighter than air! You can dance on the breeze over 'ouses and trees!" -Robert B. Sherman, Mary Poppins
